From Malvern to London

Abbey College in Malvern has prepared international students for university since 1979, on a 70-acre campus in the Malvern Hills. Its teaching, curriculum and pastoral approach have been refined over decades, with students progressing to leading universities worldwide.

A-Level Courses

A-Levels are the UK’s route into university: three or four subjects studied in depth over two years and assessed by final examinations. At Abbey College London they are taught in classes of around seven, with English language support built into the timetable.

The Abbey College record is built on classes of around seven students. Teachers constantly assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses, so a high percentage of students progress to some of the UK’s best universities.

Entry requirements

Academic: five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, or an equivalent qualification from your own country.

English: around IELTS 5.5 (CEFR B2) is a typical start, with support alongside. A short interview may form part of admission.

  • A short personal statement.
  • Evidence of English, or take our assessment.
  • Any references or supporting documents.
